Sessions and sign-out
Manage your active sign-ins from the Localisync account console. You must be signed in to open it.
View and close sessions
Section titled “View and close sessions”- Select Account & Security in the panel header.
- Open the account console’s Device activity section.
- Review the listed device/session information.
- Sign out the session you want to close. Use the console’s available sign-out controls for other devices as needed.
The console uses the identity service’s real session records. A device label reflects the available browser information; it is not a verified physical device identity.
Sign out of the panel
Section titled “Sign out of the panel”Select Sign out. Localisync immediately invalidates the local panel session and then attempts identity-provider sign-out.
If provider sign-out cannot finish, the panel reports a partial result. Your local session remains revoked. Reopening the panel requires authentication; the revoked SSO session is not silently accepted again.
Time limits
Section titled “Time limits”| Limit | Behavior |
|---|---|
| 30 minutes without activity | The panel session expires. |
| 12 hours since authentication | The session expires even with ongoing activity. |
| At most 5 minutes since provider validation | Active use must revalidate the identity-provider session. |
Background keepalive does not extend the idle timer. Workspace role changes and removals apply to subsequent API requests immediately; they do not wait for the five-minute provider check.
Revocation and outages
Section titled “Revocation and outages”A valid provider logout notification revokes the local session immediately. If a notification is missed, the next mandatory provider validation detects revocation within the five-minute validation bound.
When the provider is unavailable after that bound, requests fail with a service error. A database outage also blocks protected requests. Retry after service recovery; an outage does not delete your account.
