Workspace, project and branch selection
The header displays Current workspace / Current project / Current branch. Each selector shows the current record and archive state. Long names truncate visually; their full names remain available on focus or hover. Mobile layouts wrap the selectors.
Choose context
Section titled “Choose context”A URL’s valid context takes precedence over this tab’s preference, then the account’s browser preference. Each workspace remembers its last project; each project remembers its last branch. The first branch selection for a project uses verified main. The first workspace or project is never chosen randomly.
Changing workspace or project opens the remembered branch’s Translations screen. Changing branch preserves the section (Translations, Languages, Tags, Import or Export) while clearing branch-specific details and filters. Open a transfer from its branch’s history: changing the header never changes an already submitted job’s target.
Sidebar entries remain visible on lists and upper-level pages. Branches and project Settings are project-wide. Content entries use the selected branch. When required context is missing, clicking an entry opens a selection dialog. Cancel changes neither selection nor URL. List links always open their list; remembering context does not redirect you away.
Persistence and access
Section titled “Persistence and access”Only IDs are stored in the browser, separately for each account. Refreshes, later visits and signing back into the same account retain preferences. Open tabs keep independent selections. Existing workspace/project preferences migrate automatically. Blocked storage falls back to in-memory operation.
Each selected record is checked against the API. Lost access or deletion clears that selection; it never silently replaces a missing branch. Temporary service errors preserve the preference and offer Retry. Unsaved-draft warnings apply to every selector and normal navigation.
Workspace overview
Section titled “Workspace overview”Dashboard is the sign-in and logo destination. It uses the selected workspace and all active projects’ main branches, independently of the remembered project/branch. Switching workspace while on Dashboard opens the new workspace overview. See Dashboard.
