Workspace dashboard
The Dashboard opens after sign-in and from the Localisync logo. All four workspace roles can read it. Your last workspace is checked against current membership. If none is selected, choose one on the page; no selection dialog opens automatically. Workspaces remains available for managing or creating workspaces. Switch the header workspace to open its dashboard.
Understand the counts
Section titled “Understand the counts”Active projects, Active keys, Missing translations and Awaiting review summarize active projects’ main branches. Selecting another project or branch in the header does not change this scope. Source languages count alongside active targets; inactive languages and archived keys/projects are excluded. A fork does not multiply coverage.
The denominator is the sum of active keys × active languages for each project. Missing values, including cells with no stored value row, remain missing even when a fallback is available. Reviewed requires a current, unrevoked approval of the exact text and ICU contract. Unreviewed means a direct value exists without that approval. The overall percentage is weighted by cells; it is not an average of project percentages. Empty projects have no coverage percentage.
Language coverage and Projects show missing counts first. Project links open their main branch’s translation table. Read the translation guide and review guide before editing or approving values.
Recorded activity
Section titled “Recorded activity”Select Last 7 days, Last 30 days (default) or Last 90 days. Dates use the displayed browser time zone; today’s bucket is incomplete. View activity data provides exact daily values. The period also applies to Recent activity, not the current coverage cards.
The chart counts recorded saves/changes and clears on main branches, including import, Git, assistance Apply and merge. Fork copies are not new edits. This is a change count, not unique users, productivity, historical completion or a forecast. No percentage-growth claim is inferred.
Tasks and publications
Section titled “Tasks and publications”My tasks shows assigned tasks; Workspace tasks shows the team’s readable tasks across branches. Progress follows current values, reviews and permissions. An archived context, inactive language or lost permission can block work rather than complete it. Overdue is a deadline marker, not a new permission. Open a task to act on it using the task workflow.
Recent publications shows Preview/Production publish and rollback jobs across branches. Queued, activating, partial, failed and completed states remain distinct. A committed decision is not proof that both delivery nodes completed activation. Open the release for details; the dashboard does not select one universally active release across application-version ranges.
Refresh and errors
Section titled “Refresh and errors”Use Refresh to reload sections. Each section shows its read time and may refresh independently. There is no continuous polling. A failed section shows an error and retry control, not zero counts. Changing workspace cannot reuse another workspace’s response. Access loss removes the data from view; choose an accessible workspace or sign in again. Archived workspaces remain explicitly read-only.
Tables show ten rows per page. Charts also expose their values in text or tables and work in both themes with keyboard navigation. The Dashboard API contract documents bounded read-only access. Operator monitoring remains separate from the customer dashboard.
