Team invitations
Owner/Admin users can invite people to an active workspace. Each invitation lasts 72 hours and requires explicit acceptance.
Send an invitation
Section titled “Send an invitation”- Open Members in the workspace.
- Under Invite a teammate, enter Email address.
- Choose an Invitation role: Admin, Editor or Viewer.
- Select Send invitation and inspect the result.
A new account receives a setup email to verify its address and choose a password. After setup, the recipient must still accept the workspace invitation. An existing account receives a team invitation; its password and other memberships remain unchanged.
Accept or decline
Section titled “Accept or decline”Sign in with the invited account. Open the invitation or review Your invitations on Workspaces. Check the workspace and role, then choose Accept or Decline.
Only the bound account can accept. Opening the email or possessing its URL is insufficient. Acceptance creates one membership and consumes the invitation atomically.
Resend or revoke
Section titled “Resend or revoke”Owner/Admin users can manage records under Workspace invitations:
- Resend creates a new 72-hour invitation and revokes the previous one. Recipients must use the newest invitation.
- Revoke cancels the invitation. A prepared account remains available, but cannot join through the revoked invitation.
Archiving the workspace revokes all pending invitations. Losing management permission revokes that person’s pending invitations. Restoring the workspace does not revive them.
Understand delivery states
Section titled “Understand delivery states”| State | Meaning and next step |
|---|---|
accepted |
SMTP accepted the email. This does not guarantee inbox delivery or workspace acceptance. |
preparing |
Account/email preparation has not completed. Refresh to inspect the result. |
unconfirmed |
Delivery could not be confirmed. Check the recipient’s inbox before explicitly resending. |
The system saves the invitation before sending. A failure or timeout does not create a fake successful delivery. A process interruption can leave preparing; an authorized manager can explicitly resend after the cooldown. An email arriving after revocation still cannot be accepted.
Sending limits
Section titled “Sending limits”Sending and resending are limited to 10 per actor per minute, 30 per workspace per minute, and at least 60 seconds between sends to the same workspace/recipient. These are abuse controls, not billing quotas.
If a request is limited, wait before trying again. Never repeatedly resend to resolve spam placement or an unknown SMTP outcome.
Choose whether we remember appearance preferences and use Google Analytics on Localisync and its documentation. Optional storage stays off until you accept.
